Updating Firmware

The Rainier series each has two firmware that can be update:

The Control Board (CB) and the Upper Board (UB) firmware

To Update the CB Firmware:

1. Power off the Rainier and use a small

flat head screw driver to flip the left dip

switch down

2. Power on the Rainier

3. Run the Rainier Software

4. Select Others

5. Select CB and then Rainier

6. Select Browse and locate the CB firmware on your hard drive (AT-Rainier-1601.hex)

7. Select Update to start the update

8. When the update completes, power off the Rainier and flip the left dip switch up

9. Power on the Rainier

To Continue to Update the UB Firmware:

1. Select Others from the Update Bios menu

2. Select Rainier and then UB

3. Select Browse next to UB to locate the firmware (AT-Rainier-UB.rbf)

4. Select Update to start the update
